Battery tray dimensions
The pack drawing gives a maximum body size of 190 × 83 × 137mm. The power leads extend 130 ± 10mm and the balance leads 75 ± 10mm beyond the body. Allow room for the connectors, cable bends and straps as well as the battery itself.
Use approximately 3960g for the battery in your aircraft weight budget, then add the mounting hardware and aircraft-side wiring. Check that you can reach both connectors and remove the pack without pulling on the leads.

Dimensions and connections

Charger and balance connection
This 44.4V 16000mAh drone battery uses a 50.4V normal charge ceiling. The specification gives an 8A standard charge current and a 16A maximum. Charging is specified at 0–45°C, with a 0.2C limit at 0–10°C. The listed 51.0V absolute upper limit is not the normal charger setting.
The balance connection is a 13-position JST-XH with 22AWG wires. Check the charger’s 12S support, mating connector and pinout before connecting the pack.
25C rating and power leads
The specification lists 400A (25C) for this 25C 16000mAh battery. The pack drawing specifies an XT90-S power connector and 10AWG leads; the 400A figure does not establish the continuous current limit of that complete assembly. Provide your continuous load, peak duration and operating temperature so the supplied harness can be checked against the application.
Capacity test conditions
The 16000mAh capacity specification uses 0.5C charge and discharge at 25 ± 2°C. The discharge procedure specifies an 8A load down to 36.0V. Record these conditions alongside the measured Ah when comparing samples.
Nominal energy is 710.4Wh, calculated as 44.4V × 16Ah. Flight time will also depend on aircraft power demand, cut-off voltage and operating conditions; this value alone is not an endurance result.
Sample inspection checklist
Check the following items when evaluating a sample against your aircraft requirements.
| Item | Record or check |
|---|---|
| Drawing | Confirm the supplied revision against JS1180165-Q3 and any agreed lead or connector changes. |
| Fit | Measure the body, lead lengths and weight. Check tray restraint and connector access. |
| Capacity | Record charge procedure, temperature, discharge current, cut-off voltage and measured Ah. |
| Load test | Agree a test load within the confirmed harness limits. Record connector and cable temperatures as well as battery performance. |

Common questions
Can I use it in place of an 8S 16Ah pack?
Not as a direct replacement. This pack has twelve cells in series and a 50.4V normal charge ceiling. The aircraft electronics and charger must support that voltage, and the battery must fit the tray.
Do the stated dimensions include the leads?
No. They describe the battery body. Use the lead lengths and interface drawings above to plan the space around it.
